I am for it as long as it does what it's supposed to do . But they can't garrentee that it goes to the schools then I'm totally against it . I think everything should go and help the schools as long as the funds are spent appropriately. And not wasted away .

Would you like to see some ocean front property here in Missouri? The schools won't see diddly. But, I agree with your intent. Please vote No on 2.

I remember when the lottery was the end all of end alls for school financing. And look, our schools are worse than ever. It is not going to take any more people or money to improve the educational system. It's going to take massive reform, starting at the federal level

This has nothing to do with schools, if you don't believe it whatever happened to the lottery money? Wasn't it supposed to fix everything.

When the lottery finally got to us, we were promised fantastic roads and schools! Well?? We've had the lottery for a very long time, yet we still have failing roads and schools! Shouldn't have taken this long...where's the $$?? I don't believe the schools will see a dime!

Our children are the future and our tax dollars should invest in our future, NOT be funding crap show in Ukraine or paying for sex change operations for illegals and criminals. Those are NOT investments for our future.

Kids should feel safe at school

Our kids our required to go to school; the government should be required to ensure their safety. I haven’t taken my kid to school all week because I’m terrified he won’t come home.

Because there’ve been enough school shootings. If we have armed security at banking institutions, protecting insured and replaceable money, why should there not be armed security at our children’s learning institutions, protecting lives that cannot be otherwise insured and could never be replaced?

Kids need to be safe. Schools should be safe learning environments. Cities need to provide school resource officers, use those tax dollars wisely!!!

The way I see it , is yes, our kids need to be safe. But if we place all officers at the schools, then we have minimal left to patrol and take care of other needs. Unless we have an over abundance of people training and applying to become officers, then my answer will be no.

Ask why this wasn't necessary in the 1960s 70s & 80s. Heck we didn't have our schools gated. What has changed? It wouldn't be more weapons would it? 🤷🏻‍♂️

Let’s start from the root, there should be gun regulations. Do background checks, mental health checks, run credit scores, ensure guns, ban assault rifles, and I assure you, no more dumb people will buy guns
