Never tried coconut oil, so I plan to do a bit of factual research. If even some of these are true then heck I'll buy the oil in bulk. :)

It lasts for a lot of years, it doesn't makes sense to cut a tree to send it to the trash after 2 weeks

There really is no need to kill a living tree in order to set it up in one's home just so people can look at it and then throw it away once the holiday season is over. It's wasteful and selfish.

ReplyLove coconut shortening for deep frying. Because of the high smoke tolerance. Please note this is the shortening. I use extra virgin olive oil for most other things.

ReplyI've been using coconut oil for a while now for many reasons. I buy refined, organic, coconut oil in a jar for about $6 @ my grocer. No coconut smell, solid that turns liquid easily & no coconut taste
