He just got horse-collared on a flagrant foul and stepped up to the line and nails two FTs. Then finished an 'and-1' to get the lead with less than a minute left. Pretty clutch for a FR on the road!

It doesn't make sense for a player to walk into the lane and give imaginary fives. Maybe he got rattled after the hard foul and needs to be examined.

Experience is key, and we've seen what Sams can do on the ground (which was most of the offense last year). Although I haven't seen much of Waters. I'd love to see him start against LA-L or UMass.

I've been firmly in the Jake Waters camp but if they're truly equal the potential third year for Sams would be HUGE!

I'm not convinced that Sams has a command of the offense. My gut tells me it'll be Jake.

I want Sams to lead the team for 3 yrs, but I think Waters for 2 will get us much further as a program. #LaserArm

While he isn't a run 1st QB, he is very mobile and has better vision and accuracy. Plus he knows how to win a championship.
