The data is being stored too long and being used inappropriately. Building private databases of our travel patterns, facial recognition, speech recognition, and even the way we walk to identify us is wrong. Big Brother is watching you.

It's a slippery slope. Once they start with this, where will it end?

Those who would give up essential liberty for temporary security deserve neither. I believe we should gather the petitions necessary force a vote on a city charter amendment banning surveillance cameras.

It's a violation of our privacy and it's not being used for good. It's being used for surveillance. Also, the company is shady as well and the CEO is another term for "not a good guy," if you catch my meaning.

Look at a map of the Flock's national coverage. They are developing an electronic prison system. Not bad for criminal control, but not a good thing for honest citizens, especislly if our government's politicians becomes dishonest, like that has never happened

At this point in time, the camera's seem to do far more good than bad.

If the Flock cameras are honest, and they read license plates, why are there expired paper license plates all over town that are years expired?

It's not being used just to control criminals, it's also being used against Republicans

Ask yourself this question, if your wife, daughter, mother or aunt was raped and murdered, and they fled by car wouldn't you want the police to use every tool to catch them ? Flock cams are such a tool, people who worry about civil liberties are the same ones who spill their info on social media.

Not because he doesn't deserve the death penalty and the world would be a better place without him, the punishment is no longer a deterrent to violent crime. Too many appeals, to many mistakes, shady prosecutors, inept defense lawyers, etc..etc.

Yes&no 1) he took a life so yes he should be held accountable. 2) he had heart issues he should remain life in prison cause he would end life eventually. People who have medical conditions that's on death row should be life in prison instead of leathal injection.

The death penalty makes you what you hate - a murderer. The death penalty makes you a hypocrite. The death penalty is nothing more than collectivized sadism. Abolish the death penalty!

Some Old Testament passages, such as Genesis 9:6, Exodus 21:12-16, Leviticus 24:17-20, Numbers 35:16-18, and Deuteronomy 22:25-27, permit or require capital punishment for serious crimes against human dignity, such as murder.
