I only say this because I think his connect with Coach Erstad may draw him here... he'll play baseball as well as football. I sure hope so.

His first love is baseball. More than Likely he will be a first round pick in the draft and that's way too much money to give away. We can only hope that Erstad has more pull then we think.

Monte is invited to the baseball draft. That is a good indication that he will be drafted in MLB fairly early in the draft, which would make him an instant millionaire.

He's a beast and prototypical NFL player. If he's healthy, his teammates will have stellar years, similar to Jared Crick when Suh was around, and that will force the NFL teams to take him.

He is the closest thing you get to constant. He has also produced similar numbers to Clowney, which cannot be ignored by the national media.

He is the best rated returning I-back, combined with the talent that he brings to the table, his drive, and his heart will earn him a spot in the Heisman finals in New York.

It will depend upon how well Nebraska does in the regular season. I think they will do well.

The 'best' North/South runner in college FB & his all-around skills in pass catching & blocking for the QB and down-field are, in my opinion, is the best in today's college football. He is Consistant

It's become a QB's award lately, and I doubt with the talent we have at RB that AA will get enough carries.

Nebraska will not be good enough as a team to garner attention, and Ameer is Big Ten good, not nationwide great.
