Provides intrigue and interest. That is what the NCAA wishes for

3 Reasons: 1. It keeps the committee engaged 2. Lets teams know where they are (not blindsided) 3. We can grade committee's consistency throughout the year. (Accountability)

It makes for good TV ratings and something to watch on a Tuesday.

There is no relevance until the end of the season. Until then, it just feeds worthless comment

Yes....If not there should be! However...I would hope this would light a fire under the Butts of those who have been starting to put a lot mor effort into executing and giving it a lot more effort. Letting guys go right by to the QB without even touching them? Sheesh! Holding...false starts...knock it off. If you can't remember the count let someone play that does! GBR!

The coaches talk about putting it on film. Well Reeves, Condolo and Given Price certainly did that. Let's hope they are rewarded.

You have to put in the players that want it most. The most effective players and best players need to play.

They won't place a Pelini or a Cotton boy on the bench.

with a caveat, I think the coaches will still base the starters on the practice this week so if the 2nd stringers out perform the 1st stringers during the week then they will start.

I think it helps... However a wet ball never helps anyone. The reason I say it helps UNL is because we're running the ball. Never want to like throwing a ball in a wet environment. Hard to hold onto when getting ready to throw it...wet ball is hard to catch and sometimes slips or deflects off the receiver and is either incomplete or an interception opportunity. Just handing the ball off to a running back is much safer! GBR!

Natural grass has always been a benefit to a run team vs a pass team. In my opinion, it hurts Mich St more than Nebraska. Mich St has been leaning on high accuracy pass game this season to open up the run.

I've always believed that Fieldturf hurts them more than helps. I'd love to see a natural grass field in Lincoln.
