No. My dogs are used to gunfire they dont care about the sound. However it used to upset my husband (late husband now) because it set off his PTSD.

Both my 6 year old cat and my nine Month old shepherd mix had no problem. The pup Rowdy tried to jump into the sky and play with the pretty lights.
