Stimulus checks cause inflation and encourage people to sit on their duff. End them now, along with unemployment checks.

They have a future of sorts, but will need to be repurposed. Online shopping has made it difficult for the big retailers to maintain a presence.

Online shopping is the future. Parking alone was always a big issue, also you only need to visit 2 or 3 stores most of the time, overall going to a mall is more of a hustle than it needs to be.

$20-$30 extra on gas on each fill up, an extra $2 an item generally at the store. Basically a lot more. Spaghetti sauce is like $10! Resorting to making a lot of things from scratch because its cheaper than buying it premade.

I don't spend more, but only because I drive a lot less. Optimizing trips more consciously and riding my bike for errands.
