Because everything is still high on prices . And people are still having issues with jobs , food , housing, every day living . Inflation needs to come down alot and gas does to before we see a better impact over all .

The cost of affordable housing tends to be higher then the cost of typical construction due to over burdensome regulation required by the federal and sometimes local governments.
