No, had he admitted to what aspects he was involved in from the beginning, then this would be a just punishment. He lied and got caught and this is a slap on the wrist.

Inconclusive evidence. Still haven't found a report that says the intent was to deflate ball below the 12.5 PSI threshold- only deflate down from 16 PSI in that joking text exchange.
