It subscribes to the old sequel school of just being the first movie again, but bigger! However, in the case of Deadpool 2, I just found the jokes to be funnier.

I love deadpool, I will admit at times he becomes oversaturated but when written or portrayed right he's so much fun.

Just like with any comedy character, not every joke lands and it can really depend on the writer, but overall I can name more Deadpool stuff that I have found at least marginally entertaining than outright bad ones.

Haha! He points out the thing you noticed! Isn’t that hilarious? No. No, that’s not. Seriously, in a world where Grant Morrison writes comics, Wes Craven made 4 Scream movies, and Phil Lord & Chris Miller exist; HOW could anybody settle for Deadpool?

I love both deadpool films but it's no contest. First film has all 4 players that make it perfect. Reynolds, Tim miller and both writers Reese & Wernick. It's this lovely testament to the character I followed the production of for 7 years. If it was a one and done I'd still be very happy w/ it.
