"Netflix has previously apologized for the marketing materials released for the film, which were criticized for sexualizing underage girls, but critics are now reviving their disapproval. Cuties, which drew critical acclaim and won the Directing Jury Award at the Sundance Film Festival, tells the story an 11-year-old Senegalese Muslim girl who joins a dance group and 'rapidly grows aware of her burgeoning femininity — upsetting her mother and her values in the process.'" – Twitter
