If anyone, he deserved a deathpenalty. Why victimize the perpetrator ?

Evil action have consequences. Per his statement, he is aware of the wrong he committed. I believe in the value of all human life-but justice is necessary in order to keep society functioning and safe. It is unfortunate he made a choice that resulted in the death of 4, including himself.

I knew Fred Jones and he was as nice of a guy as you could meet. He was not a threat to anyone, and he had his own mental challenges. The murderer did not care. I'm sure Fred will forgive him and God will do the final judgement. No happiness in the execution, at least closure. Justice served.

Criminals have more rights then their victims, and they know it.

Your right 100% on June 14 2021 some dim wit crashed into my elderly parents block fence. Apparently he was under the threshold but was let go. If it was myself back in the 80s it be different story.
