I did when I was a teenager. Then my mother found it, read it, and yelled at me about what I wrote. So I stopped keeping a journal after that.

I started journaling when my son was killed on a motorcycle. I have 9 steno books of those horrible early days of grief. Almost 20 years later, I have never opened them to read my thoughts.

I kept a diary when I was a child, is all. Was embarrassed when I read it years later, so would never keep a journal as an adult.

I really feel every kid needs a class to teach 'life skills'. This class would teach about money, relationships, socializing, social media and respect and what does respect mean. I also feel it should be a required class to move to the next grade. Entering Middle-School is a perfect time to teach it

I think this should be taught at home, not in schools. I wouldn’t want a teacher to attempt to teach my daughter life skills.

Very negative impact on personal skills, interaction with others, Parents are to lax in checking on and limiting screen time. Get those kids outside playing with friends!!

I have a teenage daughter without social media. She has the option to have social media and declined. She stated that it’s distracting and that it bothers her how much her peers are using it.

Duh! Ya think? Take their smartphone away for a few hours and see what happens, a total meltdown. It's not a habit but an addiction, wake up parents!
