It is an eye in the sky and is stealthy. Saves officer lives by tracking/locating possible problem situations which allows planning proper solutions for flight request. Also can.suppott search and rescue operations, fire response planning and fire fighter safety, etc. etc..Locate fugitives, and more

They need all the help they can get with the rising crime. If you aren't doing anything wrong, why object?

Again, if you aren't doing something wrong, why object? If it keeps us safe, it is a plus.

I back the Blue... If they need it give it to them. If they abuse it punish the individual not the entire force.

Its funny how all the No votes have no comment. Like most liberals its about their feelings not facts.

As long as they are not electric! Also as long as they are needed and not just a luxury. Police cars should be in top shape and have the latest technology.

Not until the police start responding to all calls. Are the new cars going to be electric?🤔

A number of police calls are the result of an individual not being able cope with their circumstances in an acceptable manner. Having a mental health worker along could not only help the individual, but prevent the police from being put in a position that may require serious force. Good for everyone

Certainly worth a look. Presenting the absurdly high dollar cost is an indication that the city doesn't want the program.

Then we have to hire Mental Health Workers to deal with the Mental Health Workers who go on the calls and have to deal with what LEO sees on a daily basis. In addition to the liability and safety concerns they bring by being "nice" to thugs and criminals.

Let LEO'S do their job. They already have a very difficult job to do. Don't slow them down with "mental health workers."

Can we let the police just do their jobs. Are you wanting to put more people in danger?

No, on the mental health worker, Yes, on a K-9 mental support animal.
