If we're getting a fresh take, why not from the beginning? The "original" is a reboot anyways, might as well get a fresh team's take on it.

Why not just finish the series? The main characters from the movies done already are adults in the other ones any ways so why not

Hulu has managed to graft itself onto Disney+, and is using live sports to keep it on life support. Netflix is losing more and more content, and their original content isn't very good. (Stranger Things should have ended in Season 1 btw).
