there has been a prevalent queer community in columbia for decades. as a trans* person who almost had to immediately move out of state, it can be scary. protections like this are important to minorities. queer people deserve human rights too.

queer people need safe spaces in a majority red state, especially within the legislature. queer people are humans too

Columbia thrives as the liberal hub of Missouri, it's obvious that the city has leaned towards being more welcoming than the rest of the state. Everyone should feel safe no matter what their personal preferences are. That last sentence is the reason I voted this way.

no reason for biological males to use female bathrooms, join their sports. If they want to dress and behave as a women that is their decision. To allow them into the bathroom with my grandaughter is NOT. Same for women acting like men.

I absolutely disagree with any city becoming a Sanctuary for any group. The laws take care of all the people in their community if law enforcement and judges follow the laws.

It should be left alone ! Columbia has enough crime and issues as it is . There is enough of them running around and we don't need the crime and people to spread north in the state . People should stand up for their rights and beliefs. God made you a woman you stay that way , God made U a man be 1.

Asinine might be the term that could be used. Far far greater issues. That being said, research into the amount of soy put into baby formula and the long term effects might be worth exploring.....

Missouri is at THE BOTTOM for education spending, for our horrifying gun violence, and in so many other urgent areas our lawmakers should be addressing. Meanwhile this vulnerable and vastly small minority of Missourians deserves better than to be the focus of so much bigoted legislation.

Its only the right wing crazies that think we need to do this. And those politicians pandering to said crazies!

Defenseless, vulnerable, innocent children need protection from groomers and traffickers immediately. Not later, immediately.
