Will be sad when it moves. Why can't we have anything good on the east side of Bend. It is so convenient for me right now. Hopefully the new corridor is there before it opens.

Because I don't live closer to it anymore but if it moves north of Bend I will definitely renew my card and shop Costco more.

I dropped my Costco membership in 2020. Until then I had been a member since they opened in 1994. I thought I would miss the membership but honestly since Winco came in I do not miss it a bit.

Yes, There's Room For Both!........There's room for all. Food trucks set better quality food standards that all should pay attention too. We will all reap the rewards.

food carts??? you mean roach coach's. While I prefer to visit a restaurant where I can sit down and eat. I will also hit a roach coach if that is all there is.

This will lead to higher prices at the grocery stores since there won't be as much competition. Kroger will have an monopoly on the grocery market. Should not be allowed.
ReplyI don't like Fred myer, to big and for its size not much of a selection. I like Safeway the best because of variety. We don't need another big chain. If this merger is allowed all we have left is 2 big chain stores and prices will probably go up when they shutdown the smaller Safeway and Albertson
ReplyMergers always seem to mean higher prices, so I am against them in general.
ReplyConcern that a merger will likely increase prices, but in this current economy, there are so many factors in play.
Replynot a good idea ..Kroger has horrible selection and seems like they've been phasing out a lot of name brands...
ReplyKroger has always been cheaper than Albertsons so I see a drop in prices in the future.
