Money grab. Leave Friday's to the high schools. Also, tailgating? Saturday's leave you plenty of time....Friday's....not much. Bad idea.

Friday night has always been HS football night.

Friday nights are reserved for High School not College games.

This would hurt Iowa high school football. Iowa football (outside of bowl games and the day after Tgiving) has always been played on Saturday's. Keep it that way.

This is a good team run by a Great Coach. Injuries, calls, a turnover here or there. Proud to always support the HAWKS..

This team is heartless and the coaching staff is not only heartless as well but seem to be unable to put together game plans that make any sense or make in game adjustments.

Ferenz and his staff are unable or unwilling to make in-game adjustments. When you are having trouble stopping the run; put 8 or 9 guys in the box. If the other team is blitzing on 3rd downs; run some screens or do a roll-out. Terrible coaching.

We are who we are this week. Five games in and both the O and D-lines are way way underperforming. Nope...we'll struggle all year it seems.

Iowa cannot stop the run, which allows teams to be two-dimensional and become unstoppable.

There is no chemistry this year. All facets of the games are under performing including the coaching staff. The offensive line and defensive line have been pushed around and bullied in all five of the Hawkeyes games. Slim chance we go 7-5. More likely the Hawkeyes will be 5-7.

"Turn-around" implies fixable. Stupid penalties, bad schemes, strategies and plays...yes. 3 of 4 DB's struggling to cover, tackle and play the ball + unathletic OLB's + out-toughed, over-powered lines + poor fundamentals & techinique...too much bad to fix. Best case, 6-6. Likely, 4-8.

Are Hawkeyes still the team to beat in the Big Ten West?

The have more talent than the rest of the west. The teams they played last year are almost the same they will play this year. Saturday was just bad football, this team will be back. They know what is at stake.

They won't let one game define them this season.

They looked weak and Kirk went back to his old ways of trying to run out the clock instead of playing to win!!!!!!!!!!! Old Kirk was back and that's bad news!!!!!!!!!!!!

While NE and WI were beating ranked teams, Iowa lost to an FCS school. Too many questions/weaknesses right now to call them a favorite.
