It’s something different compared to the traditional 11 a.m. Saturday kickoff. A Friday game gives Iowa an opportunity to play a September game under the lights, and gives the Hawks more exposure considering they’ll be one of the few games played on a Friday night.

Money grab. Leave Friday's to the high schools. Also, tailgating? Saturday's leave you plenty of time....Friday's....not much. Bad idea.

This would hurt Iowa high school football. Iowa football (outside of bowl games and the day after Tgiving) has always been played on Saturday's. Keep it that way.
