The Simpsons are still great after nearly 30 years on the air. It's still funny, still relevant and the original cast members are still doing voices for Bart, Homer, Marge and Lisa. Eight million fans for every new episode can't be wrong. Even though The Simpsons has more than 600 episodes, it's still going strong. The animation is now digital, the images are crisp and the writing is still hilarious, even after all of this time.

The Simpsons is too old. It's time to move on. Fox (soon to be Disney) needs to replace the old standby with something new and fresh. How many times can we take another joke about a barely functional or dysfunctional family? Bart is still in fourth grade and yet somehow he knows how to use a cell phone (which wasn't around in 1989 when the show started), and Springfield's nuclear reactor will run out of uranium-235 eventually. Matt Groening can surely come up with another winner--he created Futurama, right?
