Every year, tens of thousands of people head there in the hopes of catching a glimpse of their favorite celebrities and getting the scoop on upcoming projects. It's a spectacle that's fun to watch from afar as new trailers, spoilers and panels hit the internet. Comic Con is more interesting than the Oscars because it speaks to fans rather than having an exclusive red carpet presentation.

Comic Con is getting old and the event has lost its luster. Media companies can drop news any time of year thanks to the internet, so there's no real reason to pay attention to the overcrowded and overhyped event. Most people are too busy to care an watch every minute of every panel with interest.
