It's the candidate's choice to run, and ultimately their investment to do so. If they draw campaign funds from donors, they should be able to spend that money.

ReplyThis is why I voted for the independent. I beleive that the amount if money the other the candidates spent will be doing favors for the contributors. The people left behind!

ReplyYep, the spending cap should be what ever the annual pay for the position is. Zero 3rd party spending either.
