How best to find wasteful government spending than to go to the source of the payments. Musk isn’t going to stop or interfere with SS payments or any other social programs.

Things are already expensive, now Trump wants to increase that by 25%. How is that beneficial to anyone?

Right now there are no rules. The aquifer is assumed to be unlimited, and anyone with the $$$ to drill a well can get a permit to take as much as they want.
