Yes, I remember going to the cemetery on Decoration Day to place a flag and flowers on family graves.

May 5th, 1868..General John Logan.. It was proclaimed for the Soldiers who died during the American Civil War.. I do not know the date it became Memorial Day?? I was Navy..

Biden average over 5 years exceeded 16 % with one year alone almost 10%. Trump 45 keep inflation below 3% and Trump 47 is averaging slightly above 3%. Which by the way is about historical average .Exception was WW1, WW2 KOREAN and Viet Nam years
