I find the routine of shower in relaxing and my mind is free to look at work problems from a calm perspective. I often find the answer to an uncomfortable situation or difficult problem.

I just feel like arising at the same time helps me stay on schedule and feel like I am seizing the day. Also, I can NEVER sleep in when I try anyway.
