I have so many many wonderful childhood memories of swimming in lakes! It's only natural since I grew up in Northern Michigan surrounded by lovely water.

I live near the ocean. It's more interesting to swim in the ocean because of the waves and the sea life. It's also more spacious.

I like the consistency of a pool. I love to visit and enjoy the wind, waves, weather of the ocean and large lakes.

ReplyTemperature control. Easier to do my water dancing/exercise in. I have never swam in the ocean, but I have swam in lakes, small rivers, and the San Francisco bay. I enjoyed them, too.
