As I get older, I enjoy meat less. I dislike the feel of raw meat, so preparing it is distasteful to me. Most importantly, though, is the impact the impact meat producing has on our environment.

My husband is allergic to beef. Since we're retired and mostly eat at home, the only time I eat beef is when we rarely go out for a meal.

Compared to decades ago. Now mostly chicken and pork products and comparatively little beef. I include a whole lot of plant based nutrition in my diet.

It's pasta that causes weight gain. Being a pasta lover, I have to get the all-important protein where I can. So I have not decreased my meat consumption. If anything, I must make sure that I do eat enough meat.

I have been a rancher for over 52 years. I butcher my own steers after I raise and give them the best feed available in order to make sure I have excellent quality meat. I butcher two each year for my family and my kids families as a Christmas present to them.

Heck no! I've rebalanced which meats though, by eating more chicken and pork, and eating steak only twive a week. I feel much better when I eat lots of meat and lean red meat like Porterhouse steak is scrumptious!!

I was eating virtually no red meat until my Dr. did blood work and said I awas low in something. He said eating a little red meat from time to time would resolve that. Considering I am considered to be in great shape for my age, I took his advice.

I thought it tasted just like meat. I have gastrointestinal issues, so this is a great alternative.

When I lived in the city, I'd take the bus if I didn't have a car or it was unavailable. I'd do the same in this small town if there were any, but the local gov't doesn't want to put money into it. We need it badly. If you don't have a car or a ride, you are screwed! Espacially, when very hot/cold!

I live in NYC, which has an extensive public transportation system. I do not need a car and using public transportation is better for the environment.

I live in the county and no buses available. I drive a car now, but in 3 months will turn 80 and want to stop driving. I will sell my car and pay people to take me to appts and vets etc. I have groceries and pet supplies delivered.

There are no buses in the country. If I lived in a big city, maybe I would.

Living in the country it's not an option. Sometimes ride the L in Chicago during family visits and we were on and off the subway in NYC last fall -- the only way to get around!
