After all the hustle and bustle, I like to take my time taking things down but not past the 3rd week in January

January 21st the ornaments came off the tree, 22nd the lights came off, 23rd it went out the door. Haven't unplugged the porch lights yet -- they still come on for a few hours when it gets dark!

If you don't put any holiday decorations up, you can "take them down" quickly.
ReplyThey fo up by Thanksgiving weekend and down by New Year's Day. We are tired of them by then, anyway.
ReplyAlthough we celebrate Christmas, since the kids have gone far away, the trouble of putting decorations up and the trouble of taking them down is just too much work.
ReplyHoliday? What holiday? Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, Presidents. So be bullied by being afraid to say the holiday.
