Playing the piano is one of the delights of my life! yes, I read music. I find it interesting to find old, original sheet music to see if it is the same as the way I play I have been playing pieces.

Mom made sure that each of us girls learned to play the piano - even though none of us have musical talent.

I am slowly learning to play the mountain dulcimer. I also sing along with my husband; we harmonize while he plays guitar. I can play piano though I am seriously out of practice.

I have tried many times; and taken lessons. I simply am "Musically Challenged".

I've had a keyboard for over 15 years that was given to me as a birthday gift from a friend. I expressed interest in learning to play, so she was kind enough to surprise me with this. Did some initial fooling around on it, but faded quickly. Still have interest and plan to dust it off this week!

My father side is vwry musical, however I was raised by my mother. I do not think my nrither and I would have played, though, even if we were raised by him. We simply would have had more exposure.

i love music and regularly listen to it, but I have NO musical talent or any desire to learn. I couldn't carry a tune if it had a handle. I'd prefer to let those who are musically skilled perform.
