It is worth getting yourself educated in the realm of finances. When I worked to develop my financial confidence, it drastically improved my overall quality of life.

When you're prepared, and everything is going according to plan, it's easy to feel confident.

I'm early in the process, but I am confident that I will be.

I mean.. I did have a Dave Ramsey video course in high school like 12 years ago.. and I'm a huge fan of the Wolf of Wall Street movie.. But.. no.. it's pretty low.

I was fortunate enough to "retire" several years ago. I was a first generation college student and it took me a long time to figure out my career path and get it together, but eventually I was able to really pull it together and achieve financial freedom. It's possible guys.

It's a priority for me, so I'm working hard to make it happen.

I’ve been planning for retirement for a while. It’s been a huge weight off my shoulders to know that I have a plan set in place that’s going to take care of me long after I’m finished with my career.

To be honest, if I was asked this question a couple of years ago, I would have said no. Yes, I had a 401k and decent savings, but I had no real plan in place for exactly how I wanted to retire. I would definitely recommend using Brighthouse to help you plan for your ideal retirement.

I've recently quit my job to pursue art full time. I'm an artist.. I make most of my money doing commissions. I know that I need to think about retirement, but right now I'm just focused on getting this thing off the ground.

I've hopped around in a couple different career fields. I never really payed much attention to my benefits packages.

When it comes to retirement.. I feel so lost. It hasn’t been something that I’ve spent a whole lot of time thinking about.. and that scares me because I’m almost at the end of my working career. Sometimes I wonder if it’s too late to get it all figured out.

I really think that it is important that people start working with a financial advisor early in their career.

This is a HUGE reason why I know that I'm going to be able to afford the retirement that I want. I was a little bit overwhelmed before I started the process, but Brighthouse provided a lot of great info on their site.

Yes! I don't think I would be in the position to have the retirement that I want if I hadn't started working with one a few years back.

I have given it a lot of thought, but I guess I haven't felt comfortable enough to take the next step. It's hard trusting someone else with money.
