He took an 8-8 team and went 8-8. The Raiders set all-time NFL records for most penalties and yards penalized in a single season. He also gave away too much in the trade for Carson Palmer. Jack Del Rio is the better option for the Raiders.

Hue Jackson had the Raiders on the right track. Yes, they didn't win more games in his lone season as head coach than Tom Cable did the season before, but Jackson had everyone believing. Firing Jackson set back the Raiders several years. They're only coming out of it right now.
