I sure hope he makes it, but I just have a feeling that this may be his final season. I hope he lets us know before he walks away.

This is like a little kid taking their ball and going home if they don’t win. Backing out of a game bc you are likely to lose would not be a good precedent to set, especially with these games being booked years in advance.
