It's the same rhetoric that the Presidential nominees use during their debates. So no, it doesn't impact who I vote for because they aren't saying anything different.

Even though the debates are just a platform for reciting the same rhetoric over and over. I do want to see how the Vice Presidential candidates perform under stress because ultimately, they are second in command.
