Why fix something that's not broken? My four-wheeled car works just fine. Besides, we already have private planes and rules around that already.

Not many people will for pay the $7-10k to get their pilot's Lic.

Troubled by the phrasing of the question. It might, someday happen -- just not in the immediate future.

Never happen at that price . . . You'll see a few in the future, but the cost + pilots lic. will prevent it as becoming a common sight.
