We used to have the right to elect 5 people from anywhere in PD to council and hold all 5 accountable. Five districts would give us 1 vote and 1 accountable person. That’s worse, not better.

I vote yes to have voting districts. The two district system is blatantly unfair in that access not even. At large vote for four candidates while the district votes for only one. How is that fair?
ReplyThere are NO City Council members who live in the North or East side of Palm Desert. We deserve a city council member who lives in our neighborhood to represent our interests! The City Council needs to implement 5 Distructd NOW!
