I feel that having a true offensive coach allows us to: A) operate in a proven system B) to properly utilize the talent that we already have C) and coach up the future talent

Mike Riley is said to know how to coach a qb up... and with him having a couple playing in the NFL, I think it's mighty believable. Be nice to finally see a qb PROGRESS, instead of RE-Gress... I was seeing Tommy starting to do the exact same irritating stuff that T-Mart was doing...

I actually think our defense will be worse. Something has to get better

Underdeveloped talent is just waiting for solid coaching.

The RB is already deep. Getting Brown would have been simply getting an extra cherry on an already loaded sundae.

My crystal ball is in the shop, but I really wanna say yes to this. He's a shoo-in for the Illini, but I gather that Glenn & Matt went hard in this visit. Hopefully, it was enough to convince him on Lincoln.
