Week 1-2 improvement. S Miss won't have an entire off-season with a veteran returning starter QB (who has already played NU) gameplanning the nuances of beating Pelini's defense.

Unfortunately, I do not believe the defense will ultimately be able to stop the run against good teams. Just like last year and the year before. Never happened.

Yes, especially when you combine the upheaval this causes with a few of their opt outs and departures. It's one of the reasons bowl games just aren't the same anymore. The record might say we're playing the 15th ranked team, but in reality, we're playing what's left of it. Glorified scrimmage gm!
