The players we have are all "young" and will experience a new staff. Fife, Stanton, Bush, and Armstrong give us what we need the next two years. Bringing in "your" guy next tear gives two years for that guy to grow into Coach Riley's system. I expect two recruits at QB next year.

with new staff and short recruiting time. Coach Riley will get his guy for 2016.

We have plenty of talent in the wings that when properly coached should excel. Anyone who says this staff has not handled recruiting well is a blubbering idiot.

It's not an issue for the 2015 season.

Right now the stable is full. One missed year shouldn't hurt that much. Besides we could be surprised on Wednesday.

would rather wait a year to target the right person than take one to take one

Our problem at QB is there are too many goods ones... now that's a problem I wish we could have forever.

We have good young QBs now and will surely get one (or two) next year. I'm far more worried about the LBs than the QBs.

The new coach does not know what offense he plans to run. So how do you pick a qb.

Plenty of young QBs. Also a strong possibility of T.J. Green as a walk-on, which is kind of astounding. There were just a lot more pressing needs for this class.

Seems like we have plenty of them. If something happens to Armstrong, let's see what Johnny Stanton & A.J.Bush can do. Is Fyfe still around?

Any venue is a good venue, we're in a bowl. Remember where it all began? The Gothem Bowl

No! I was going to Phoenix! Playing in the cold in a baseball stadium. NU got the worst bowl. Don't ride the subways.

Baseball stadiums are NOT conducive to FB games...sight lines and angles to the field are designed for baseball and not FB. Will save the $3 to $4,000 dollars and watch it 10 feet from my icebox, and bathroom...Plus, who knows what type of Husker team will we be seeing...Too many nopes for me.

Very good athlete. Won't make a ton of plays, but can be a serious threat catching the football.

He's an athlete, and a good one. He's to valuable to be sitting on the sidelines. He needs to be part of the rotation.

It just seems he isn't a true QB and maybe this (TE) is where he should have been all along. And now with several leaving the position this could be perfect. Nothing is "hidden" these days.

He needs a lot of time learning how to run behind his pads. If he does not learn that, he is going to get hurt. He also does not come across as a real fluid athlete. Strong and fast for sure but really do not see much flexibility and vision as a runner.

This works if Rhule gets a great qb in the portal. Kaelin didn't play a down even though he could have played in four games. And now he's gone. One blindside sack and Raiola is down for the count and Haaberg is back at qb. I do give Haaarberg an extra A for effort as always.
