I think a good 'running' OC like Army's OC could have an awesome offense with this exact personnel. And the Army's OC only makes $190K.

I hate to be this negative but I think we'll be lucky to make a bowl game 😔 Between not being able to beat a ranked opponent, the coaching carousel, no proven QB or RB and just sucking the last 25 years I'm starting to lose hope and lose faith in this staff. GBR 😭

I'm hopeful, but six wins seems most likely until the the team proves itself with a new QB and rebuilt lines.

Not possible. Lost our best player to the NFL draft. New OL coach and DC. Major rebuild. Scary to think this is year 4 and NU is talking about a major rebuild. Rhule sells the Kool Aid hard in the off season. GBR!!!

QB turnover machine. No D tackles. No RBs. Good Luck. 6-6 is the absolute ceiling. 5-7 is what it will be.

He seems more than just a mobile QB, he plays with abandon and spunk. Why wasn't he here right out of high school? But how could we have lost Ekeler? Have we turned into the dumbest program in America?

Of course, it should since we had a statue QB, once Lateef was in the offense changed to suit his skill set, and so it follows that Dana will tweak the offense to suit Colandea's skill set and with a new o-line coach changes come.

Running game is improving
ReplyI think without getting cute and simplifying we were able to see the talent that was recruited on the line shine against Wisconsin. There were holes open nearly all night for our backs. Dylan was not sacked at all.

ReplyTonite I saw hints of the '95 Huskers. We have a lot of work to do but I think with Rhule and Holgerson, I think within the next 2-3 seasons, we will be on the ranking polls and pushing for the Big 10 Legends title and then? Who knows? Maybe a National title is in the future??
