The schools also need trained and qualified security, with sufficient firepower, on campus at all times.

This costly measure would give schools and families a sense of security--as have other $$ measures. But it likely won't keep kids any safer from (exceedingly rare) gun violence on campus.

Two months ago, you posted, "Missouri is at THE BOTTOM for education spending, for our horrifying gun violence, and in so many other urgent areas our lawmakers should be addressing. The actual gun violence frequency is low, however our children are priceless. They deserve protection from criminals.

The referees are determining the winners. The NFL has become a giant money laundering system. There is nothing there for me anymore, but I have a lot more time with my lovely wife, and our friends.

Not since the Great Depression has wealth inequality in the US been so acute, Top 0.1% now worth as much as the bottom 90%. Prior to Reagan and trickle-down economics in the mid-80's, the bottom 90% held over 35% and the top 0.1% about 10%. And yet, the wealthiest among us still want more!

It will always be that way, because most people make bad choices.

Forgot one important fact ... Reagan and trickle-down economics also put us on the path to huge budget deficits and financial ruin.

This data is from 12 years ago, but it is only WORSE now. https://www.theguardian.com/business/2014/nov/13/us-wealth-inequality-top-01-worth-as-much-as-the-bottom-90

Nothing the Democrats have done of offered has ever helped the majority of the people. Obamacare caused my healthcare to skyrocket and quality to plummet. Democratic scandals, such as those seen in Minnesota with the Somalians, far too common. It's past time to support out President.

Prior to the Affordable Care Act, insurance companies routinely denied coverage for pre-existing conditions. How exactly does that reduce the quality of coverage?

Right ... other than the 19th Amendment, Social Security, GI Bill, Medicare, Medicaid, Securities and Exchange Act, Rural Electrification Act, unemployment benefits, Voting Rights Act, Head Start & student loans, Republicans? Tax cuts for corporations & the wealthy.

If the revenue isn't replaced (along with cuts) with a flat/consumption/fair tax, then it's a waste of time. When it comes to spending money, republicans can waste it as much as the democrats.

It would probably be replaced by higher regressive sales tax rates.
