This costly measure would give schools and families a sense of security--as have other $$ measures. But it likely won't keep kids any safer from (exceedingly rare) gun violence on campus.

Two months ago, you posted, "Missouri is at THE BOTTOM for education spending, for our horrifying gun violence, and in so many other urgent areas our lawmakers should be addressing. The actual gun violence frequency is low, however our children are priceless. They deserve protection from criminals.
Sadly, it helps keep kids safer & needed in this day & age.
ReplyHell yes they do!! How many more is going to die?? I still believe that resource officer in Florida needed to be charged with murder as well as those cops didn't do one thing to help those 2 teachers and those students in Uvalde Texas They are as guilty as the one that pulled the trigger
ReplyThe schools also need trained and qualified security, with sufficient firepower, on campus at all times.
