Should local cities allow residents to shoot off fireworks for the July 4th holiday?

Because everyone should be able to celebrate. And if the city says no well they still do it anyways and cops dont enforce anything especially if they know who is shooting them off . But everyone should have them shot off by midnight to let people sleep cause they may have to work the next day .
