A lack of regulation will lead to shortages in housing inventory. Honestly these short-term rentals should probably be regulated into extinction. Make housing affordable again! - Rob Rasmussen

Homes in primarily R-1 residential areas are losing homes to short term rentals. This loses homes to families that could be long term residents. This drives

It's better to have the marketplace dictate the cost of a home (supply & demand) rather than limiting investors and home buyers (the money) options, no?

Forcing American citizens to leave the CCP HQ (Columbia, MO) isn't a bad thing. Missouri will be better off, if everyone leaves Columbia, MO.

Most of my neighbors are short-term. I love it. They are all professionals mostly healthcare. Zero kids, zero riff raff. I was happy after they were able to evict all the bums earlier.

Regulation leads to shortages (then a rise in prices), quality of homes and neighborhoods goes down (more crime, etc.) Regulation is almost always a bad idea! The only regulation that should be put forth should be how much the government can interfere with a free society!

Most people already drive 75 MPH, at least. Trust the people.

A lot of people drive faster than the posted speed limit - 75 to 80 instead of 70. Increasing the speed limit will just push the actual travel rates higher - 80 to 85 instead of 75. With all of the heavy trucks on the road (some that drive slow), higher speeds are just dangerous.

Drivers are already driving 5 to 10 miles over the current limits so if it's increased I'm pretty sure they'll exceed the new limits.
