I am terrified everyone in the County is eventually going to get this. Thank God Biden has spent billion$ on the vaccine. The main reason I am so scared is 24/7 media pox coverage. Why hasn't the City Council done SOMETHING? Do they not care? So scared, I can't work, need stimulus check now. /s

Biden is worried because he and his base, practice the behaviors, that transmit monkeypox.

Third world countries are not having problems with monkeypox, only progressive countries have this sickness.

No. As long as you don`t practice high risk behavior, you don`t have anything to worry about.

Bleh. I just puked in my mouth. Stay away from the gay fest downtown.

Well said. Don't poke fun at the carriers. They are very sensitive about their personal habits, even though they think they are normal.

Gay fests are fine, just wear two condoms they will protect you the same way wearing two masks stopped the spread of COVID.

Butt, butt, the elites need the common people to be scared and easier to control, looking to government for help. Democratic party needs fear to flaunt election laws and have mail in ballot harvesting, to stay in power in November? You think they are going to run on their record or economy? FJB

Libs really want 30 hours of sick time for 1 hour work called Univ Basic Income. This is a great example of an organic Missouri effort to change our Constitution, you can tell by the homemade signs. NOT, another dark money effort to buy an amendment when they fail in legislature. End this BS. FJB

Paid leave is good for families and employers--it helps attract and retain the best talent, reducing employee turnover costs, and helps alleviate financial strain on families. It's a win-win.

Paid sick leave is needed for all workers. How can you pay medical bills if you aren't getting paid while you are sick or recovering from surgery?

No one should have to choose between taking care of themselves or a child and missing a pay check. This is an obvious yes.

Small Missouri employers have enough problems just meeting their payrolls. More government intrusion is not the answer.

You think prices are high now. Wait until they raise them some more if this passes.

If you don't want to be an employee, START A BUSINESS. If you can't start a business, LEAVE BOONE COUNTY. It's quite simple.

Businesses will leave not only Boone County but Missouri if this passes. Businesses will also try extra hard to automate and replace people with AI robots to keep their costs down. The problem with marxist socialists is that they ultimately run out of other people's money.

You accepted the benefits or lack there of when you accepted the job. If they offer overtime see if you can store all or part of your hours for unforeseen circumstances. If not look for a company that provides leave and quit trying to force small businesses out.
