It is hard for me to approve something that my Great, Great, Great, Great Grand Children will still be paying for.

300+ billion to bail out mismanaged union pension plans and matching funds for politicians I probably don't support paid for with my tax money makes me livid. These are just two of many examples of waste in this travesty of legislation

Too expensive, not that the $1,400 isn't nice, but for what he spent on other countries and cities that don't deserve it cuz they let other people destroy, this is costing us taxpayers way too much money, plus there's a lot of people I know that still working. Democrats are screwed up our country

It is full of garbage spending that could not get approved on it's own. Non pandemic spending is rife in this bill that does nothing but devalue our currency.

No ,why should we pay for something that has nothing to do with the Covid relief !! They can always get another bill in the next 5 years . I believe people need to be able to vote where their money is going .Congress is spending so much money that we will belong to China soon .

Because we’re too dependent on the government as a society. Jobs are everywhere and people are getting paid more to sit at home. A lot of Americans feel they are “above” most general labor jobs and out government supports them in turning it over because they have 100k illegal aliens per week now

I believe with all my heart that Columbia residents should donate their entire paychecks to the City. If the City had ALL of the money, it would solve ALL of the problems.

They want to raise taxes because the “sales taxes are less than expected”. Could this be due to Columbia’s citizens not shopping downtown, etc. as they do not. Want to deal with addicts, vagrants and panhandlers. Lower revenues are due to administrators poor policies and other choices ie..plan fine

Get rid of the unnecessary positions created the past 3 years! The answer is to reduce the size of government, NOT raise taxes! Columbia's sales tax rate is already too high. Continue letting crime and homelessness flourish, raise taxes, and people will leave the city,

Why not cut the city official salaries by a few thousand dollars each to help make up some of the money that the city is looking for? But I doubt a single city official would be willing to do that even though most of them live better than the rest of the city.

The recorder of deeds salary alone is over $96,000!!!!!!!!!!!! TRULY INSANE. Most of us can never even imagine that amount of money.

If you are alive, there is no such thing as too many taxes. EVEN when you are unalive, you are taxed.
