Gaara is just simply more powerful in offence defense and strategics. As well as he cant be hit by tricks or sneak attacks. In addition his sand has blocked very powerful explosions before.

I don’t know why people separate them like that everything about naruto is good
ReplyI love both Naruto and Shippuden are my favorites but I have one problem about Shippuden, that's when Naruto forgot what Naruto was about let me explain. The idea of Naruto is that a kid with nothing grow up and trough determination and hard work becomes Hokage, in Shippuden he has everything.
