It just seems AP is done with that city and probably feels they turned on him when he needed their support the most. I would love to see the Bucs trade a 4th rounder for him. They can afford his salary with all the cap space they have.

Too many obstacles to a trade. All just seems like posturing from AP's camp. Who would've thought belting your kid with a tree branch would give you leverage for an improved contract twelve months later?
ReplyWho is willing to give up quality and restructure a multi-year contract for a 30 year-old RB with a short shelf-life? I'm a Cowboy fan, and there's no way I want AP in Dallas for the previous reasons.
ReplyHe's not young anymore and hasn't played for a while, and his salary is too high when teams can draft a good RB from this loaded class.
ReplyVikngs have him under contract and need 1st/2nd round pck in a trade. I dont believe they will get that at this time.
ReplyRegardless of what Peterson's agent is saying, he's just to valuable to trade at this point. His presence will help Bridgewater develop into a better QB. Bridgewater showed some very positive intangibles in his first year without Peterson, it would be foolish to hinder his progress now.
Replyhe is a viking for life!
