Considering that her memories of her mother are a blip in her memory and she went through something bad enough for her to become Sylvie in the first place, whatever is her motivating factor is to be doing what's she's doing, if its for revenge from the TVA, her being a former agent that figured out the Timekeepers trap variants there as "employees" & taking her life from her would make a ton of sense. It would also make sense as to why she says I've been running from the TVA my whole life. One way or another Sylvie is the key to unlocking the TVA mystery! Show Less

Hmm.. She's definitely hinted at the fact that she has disowned the Loki name, so somewhere along the way she had to come into contact with other Loki's to understand how horrible they are and decide to be different. Her working for the TVA would be an explanation as to why she's seen other Loki's

Yooooooo Waira coming in hot with the theories, I like that a lot. I didn't even think if she'd realize not being a Loki was a good thing by coming in contact with other Loki's, I like that add to this idea!

It all comes down to the reset charges. If she was just creating a massive diversion, did she need to launch that many of them at once? Also why would she send them to those specific locations unless there's a reason to hit those specific points in time. Also if she was a TVA agent at some point wouldn't she have known her magic wouldn't work there? It certainly seems likely that she's working for someone who wants to attack the timeline and open the multiverse. I mean she even says in her first appearance to Loki this isn't about you, which sounds like its about someone other than a Loki. Show Less

Its terrible that I'm landing on this side as this theory came to me organically during my spoiler review, but I can't shake the fact that she didn't know she couldn't use her magic in the TVA, if she worked for them in the past she should have remembered that, but it would be so cool if she was!

Being a Loki this could obviously go either way, but considering the little we learn about her in episode 3, it seems likely that Sylvie has figured out the TVA's secret, and if they're indeed the villain she could be the hero. Especially if her Loki was once a TVA agent & learning those things is what led her to assume the role of Sylvie! Show Less

It's really hard to tell who is good and who is evil in the series, but I'm thinking Sylvie will ultimately be on the side of good.

Whether the TVA is good or bad, bombing the timeline and creating all those branches can't possibly be for a good reason, especially if she's working for somebody, say Kang the Conqueror. Plus being a Loki in some way, means we shouldn't trust her anyway. Loki should expect a knife in the back at some point from Sylvie. Show Less
