We have some national forest land near our home, and even though our neighborhood's pretty developed, we still have a prevention plan. You never know!

Other than fake grass and rubber mulch, not really. I cut down a couple of pine trees overhanging my house, but am curtailed by our CCRs from cutting down more, unfortunately.

I haven't thought about this, and I trust my city's fire departments to help in case of an emergency.

Looks like the crew managed to get out of Dodge in the nick of time. I would say that the crew overall did not respond in the right way to save life if possible,
