It is an important check to keep a majority ruled congress from running rough shod on everything while they are the majority. The democrats have used this as a check while they were in the minority. .

Doing away with the filibuster is one step towards one party rule. They regretted abolishing the filibuster for judges. Why would this be different? And when did the media stop calling it "the nuclear option"?

Not only do I not like this map, I don't like the way they split Boone County in half last time either. Kehoe is wrong. Nothing this legislature does represents me and my values.
